Who is Kody?

Hi, I'm Kody Heuser, a Technology Instructional Assistant at Findley Elementary, and I am running to be your Beaverton Chapter 48 Secretary! I currently serve as one of your Instructional Reps on the Executive Board. In my one year on the board, I have already worked to improve how our chapter communications are sent out by developing and launching a new chapter website. I also worked with chapter leaders to start visiting worksites and forged connections with lawmakers while representing our region on the state’s Government Relations Committee.

I don't plan to stop there. As your Secretary, I want to bring even more transparency and accountability to the board by ensuring meeting agendas, minutes, and communications are consistently accessible to everyone. One of my biggest goals is to ensure that every position, whether Instructional, Nutrition Services, Trades, Technical, Clerical, Transportation, and everything in between, has a strong voice in the decisions that affect us all. I want to represent all members, leaving no classification and no problem behind. I hope I can count on your vote!
